Case Study: Bioparc Valencia
This case study was developed in 2023 as the final project for a UX/UI bootcamp. It began with an analysis of the current visitor experience at Bioparc Valencia and the identification of opportunities for improvement in three areas: access to information, wayfinding inside the park, and adapting the service for mobile use. Based on this diagnosis, I developed a mobile app proposal designed to centralize key visitor services, including advance ticket purchases, an interactive map, multilingual audio guides, and notifications about upcoming events. The research showed clear interest in this kind of solution, particularly in features that help visitors avoid queues, access audiovisual information about the animals, and receive contextual alerts during their visit. The project was validated through user testing. This confirmed that the overall flows were easy to understand while revealing opportunities to improve feature prioritization and refine the MVP scope. Beyond the final outcome, the case study helped me strengthen key skills in scope definition, early validation, interface-system organization, and iterative flow design. You can explore the functional prototype below and open the full case study in Notion for a more detailed look at the process.
